Chris is a 37 year old
Santo Domingo artist who is famous for his
intricate mosaic inlay work. He lives and
works at the Pueblo and is married with
three children.
This incredible work of
art from Chris features a large inlaid
pendant with turquoise, lapis, coral, mother
of pearl and jet. It hangs from a large
barrel bead inlaid with the same stones. The
stones are inlaid on a large velum shell and
the necklace can be reversed with that side
up. The necklace features six strands of
amazing Pennsylvania jet beads with
turquoise, coral and spiny oyster accents.
The jet is highly polished which is very
difficult to accomplish. This is one of the
most impressive pieces we have seen from
Chris yet!
Size: Necklace is 19" in total length,
but can be lengthened with a chain.
