BUCKLE AND BOLO TIE SET BY RICKY VACIT
This
stunning set was hand made by Zuni artist
Ricky Vacit.
It features turquoise, coral, mother of
pearl and tortoise shell stones inlaid in
traditional geometric designs. The use of
tortoise shell is an indication of its age
as it was outlawed in 1973. Marked R. Vacit,
the set was made before Ricky married and
started working with his wife Lucy. It has
not been cleaned as most collectors prefer
the old pawn look.

This
is a beautiful old Indian Silver Inlay
Buckle! This piece was crafted by Native
American artist Tom Willete and is
stamped with his name. It is inalid with
turquoise, coral, shell, abalone and
tortoise shell in a hummingbird design.
The use of tortoise shell is an
indication of its age as its use was
outlawed in the early 70s. This piece
was repaired on the back as the original
hook was broken off. Pictures of repair
