a Sunface design on a spiny oyster
half-shell.

SPINNER PENDANT

Fred is a Zuni artist who is well known for
his inlay work. He specializes in Apache
dancers, Rainbow Men and Sunfaces.
This spinner pedant features turquoise,
coral, mother of pearl and tortoise shell
with a Rainbow Man on one side and an Eagle
Dancer on the other. It is stamped on the
inside of the ring as FL Natachu.
This stamped was first used by the artist
and his wife in 1974. The use of tortoise
shell suggests this piece would have been
made very close to that time as its use was
outlawed in 1973. This piece has not been cleaned, as many
collectors prefer the old pawn look.
Size:
Pendant is 2 1/4" Tall, 2" Wide. Chain is
