SQUASH BLOSSOM NECKLACE
This amazing old necklace. The beads are all
hand made, each made up of two liberty dimes
that were domed and fused together. Three
slightly domed liberty silver dollars are strung
on each side. The dimes range in age from 1936
to 1944 and the dollars are from 1922 to 1934
(five out of the six are from 1922-1924). The
naja is sand cast silver and features a single
high grade green turquoise stone. There are no
visible artist markings. It is estimated this
piece was made around the late 1940s. It has not been cleaned as many collectors
prefer the Old Pawn look.
