A member of the Roadrunner clan, Elizabeth Waconda was born in 1925 and passed on in 2007. She and her sister, Eva Histia, learned how to make pottery from their mother as they were growing up. Elizabeth was known for her polychrome canteens, jars and seed pots. Some of her work is in the collection of the Peabody Museum of Harvard College.
