A member of the Coyote clan, actively making pottery since 1981, Lorraine Chinana was taught to make pottery by her grandmother Reyes S. Toya. Often experimental, she is unique in her use of blue slips. Chinana also choose to produce sgraffito redware and grayware jars, bowls, oval vases as well as polychrome decoration.
