This is a sensational, handcrafted vintage inlay bolo by famous award winning Zuni artisan Elliot Qualo (d). Elliot Qualo was the son of Myra Qualo. Born in the 1930s, he didn't start producing jewelry until about 1960. His creations were award winning pieces and highly coveted by collectors all over the world. He produced from 1960 until his passing in the late 70s. This piece is marked on the back Bennett Pat. Pend. C31 made from 1957 to 1967. Stamped with Elliot's double elk antler hallmark. The piece has not been cleaned as many collectors prefer the old pawn look.
