Burel is an award winning Hopi artist. He is the son of Helen Naha, brother to Sylvia and Rainy Naha, and the nephew of Joy Navasie. Born in 1944, he earned a degree at Brigham Young and was a teacher for many years, finding his way back to making traditional pottery as his mother had taught him.

This beautiful pot was hand coiled and painted by Burel. It is signed with his hallmark of a Longhair Kachina and a feather.
