While her background is rooted in a family of potters, Mirna has cultivated a distinct style that sets her apart. Her son, Octavio Silveira Jr., continues the family tradition as a gifted potter. She regards Juan Quezada Celado, the pioneer of Mata Ortiz pottery, as her greatest inspiration.
