Glendora Fragua (formerly known as Glendora Daubs) is the finest creator of Jemez sgrafitto-style pottery. Her work is continuously evolving and improving, a fact which was recognized in 1997 when she won the "Best of Pottery" award at the Gallup Indian Ceremonial. She is the daughter of well known Jemez potter Juanita Fragua and her siblings are potter BJ Fragua and sculptor Clifford Fragua. This signed piece is one of Glendora's early works circa 1980s and is much larger than the pieces she makes today.
