Stephanie Naranjo is the granddaughter of Luther Gutierrez and great-niece of Margaret Gutierrez, and Stephanie learned from watching and working with them both. After Luther died, Margaret began collaborating with Stephanie and they shared a booth together each year at the Santa Fe Indian Market. After Margaret passed in 2018, Stephanie inherited the family business. She signs her work Stephanie Naranjo.
