Jennifer Estevan, born in 1963, carries forward her family's pottery tradition as the daughter of Yvonne and Joe Estevan. Trained by her mother in the ancestral craft, she creates each vessel through the time-honored coil-building technique using authentic Acoma clay. Her work is distinguished by hand-painted designs executed with bee-weed, a natural pigment that honors traditional methods and connects each piece to generations of Pueblo artistry.
This piece was made in the 1980s and is in great condition.
