Acoma Pueblo Hand Painted Pottery
Acoma Pueblo Hand Painted Pottery is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This eye catching piece is pour molded. Virgie Garcia from Acoma Pueblo is recognized as a contemporary potter, though definitive confirmation of her current activity is lacking. She was documented as an active artist in Dillingham's 1991 records, and Schaaf referenced her work in his 2002 publication. Garcia attributes her pottery skills to her grandmother, Lolita Garcia, who taught her the traditional methods of pottery making.
